Activities for families with children continue in 2024 at the Museum of Ancient Ships in Pisa.

Educational workshops and thematic visits on Sundays at 3:30 p.m.

Workshops for children aged 7 and up at the Museum of Ancient Ships in Pisa.

Workshops and guided tours for children with our didactically experienced archaeologists: the little ones will visit the museum, with its perfectly preserved ancient ships, and take part in a beautiful didactic workshop. Parents can in turn visit the museum on their own or take part in the scheduled guided tour. 

A different workshop will be offered each time.

Thematic visits for everyone!

Guided tours of one hour with an in-depth look at the proposed theme, to be guided by our operators through the museum rooms, discovering ancient curiosities and secrets, with explanations suitable for all ages!

19 May →  Thematic visit 'Once upon a time there were giants of the sea'.

Who was he? How old was he?  What did he eat? What did his work consist of?
Let's find out together how much and what information human bones can give us by looking at those of our sailor.

26 May → Thematic visit 'Once upon a time there were the giants of the sea'.

A tour designed to stimulate the curiosity of young and old alike, where everyone can become familiar with the great Roman ships and the history of Pisa.

Duration 1 hour

All activities cost € 6 per person + museum admission

Family ticket € 20 (maximum 2 adults and 3 children aged 6 to 18)

The workshops take place with a minimum of 6 children.

For each child, the presence of an adult in the museum is required for the duration of the activity.
