Here is a brief list of the artists present at this edition:
Mauro Martin, born in Pinerolo, attended the Art School and the Polytechnic of Turin where he obtained a degree in Architecture. In parallel to his studies, he attended the atelier of Raffaele Ponte Corvo, a well-known surrealist painter from Turin and became closely connected with the art world of Venice. From drawing to painting to photography, his many fields of interest have a common denominator, namely the composition and structure of the work. For Martin, every visual language is based on the same rule: that formal cleanliness and that rigour of setting which in the Renaissance was at the basis of every artistic creation.
Rosa Maria Protopapa, born in Gagliano del Capo (Lecce), Rosa Maria Protopapa has a deep passion for the visual arts since she was a child. Initially he embarked on his artistic path exploring the realm of sculpture, refining his skills with the delicate processing of the stone leccese. However, as time passed and her experiences multiplied, she found herself increasingly attracted by the timeless charm of painting and writing. Currently he teaches at the University of the Third Age in Adelfia, his current residence.
Laura Ricci, born in Pisa, where she still lives. Since she can remember, painting is her way of communicating with the environment around her, preferring techniques such as oil and watercolor. Often, in the subjects of his works, natural environments and architectural elements are found and over time, passing from an initial figurative phase, his painting has increasingly turned to introspection, as an exchange between the known and the unconscious.
Cristiano Turri, born in 1973 in Lucca, graduated from the Liceo Artistico and graduated from the faculty of Architecture in Florence. It represents onirically a soft world, where there is no space for edges, a world given by circles that are composed creating figures, a world where color actively participates in the spasmodic search of balance, an animal world where instinct wins over reason, Order wins chaos, respect wins arrogance. Passionate about art, he creates ceramic works, but it is through acrylic painting, pencil, marker that he can express his idea of art in a more comprehensive and direct way. Lately he has approached with great interest to digital art.
