In the days of the anniversary of the bombing of the city and the liberation of Pisa, double appointment with Esterno Notte - Mura di Pisa Night Experience special World War II. Friday 29 August, with a replica on Friday 5 September, night visit on the high walkway with video projections and sound stories: from the enthusiasm for entering the war through the bombing of 31 August 1943, the German occupation, the resistance of the Casarosa partisan brigade, the city divided in two by the front of the Arno, the cathedral invaded by the evacuees, the fire of the Camposanto Monumentale, the Nazi searches, until 2 September 1944, when the Allied front passes the Arno and liberates the city.
A night film tour in collaboration with Aquarium of Memory, participants will be equipped with silent headphones, departure at 9 p.m. at the Piezometric Tower Porta Pacis at the Fibonacci Polo, ex Marzotto, with access from the footpath outside the walls that can be reached from via San Francesco or via Vittorio Veneto. Arrival at about 10.30 p.m. in Piazza dei Miracoli.
